The traditional instrument from bamboo: Angklung

This video i found from YouTube, it's told about traditional instrument from Indonesia who use bamboo. It's really famous almost around the world because its really unique when you want to play it and its not easy because each angklung have different note. This video wants to show you how unique and sucess of angklung.

A Thousand Islands ( Pulau Seribu )

Pulau Seribu means a "Thousand Island" consisting of almost 128 small islands located in the Bay of Jakarta in the Java Sea. Most of these are inhabited and can be reach in about 1 - 2 hours from Marina Ancol by ferry or by chartered board. 

Secret island in Java that people don't notice it: Karimunjawa

Maybe all the people who want to visit Indonesia, only to going to Bali or Lombok, because two of this islands are very famous. As you know that Indonesia have a million small islands around them and most of them are still virgin ( it means less of people who know it ). This time i want to introduce you one of the small islands and also secret in Java, we called it Karimunjawa. Karimunjawa located around 83 km from Jepara, Center of Java. How to get there ? because this island is still virgin and not much people know it, so based of my experience because i love backpacking: i took train from Jakarta until Semarang, after that i took bus to went to Jepara and we can choose two ways to go by traditional boat or ferry but i chosen traditional boat because it was cheap even though it was a bit dangerous, its not expensive to paid to fish man who company me, only Rp 5000 ( 50 cents euro ) but with ferry we have to pay Rp 50.000 ( 4 euro ). Plus, there are no hotels in there just traditional cottage but its clean. In Karimunjawa, you can do any water sport : diving, swimming with the small shark or snorkeling, the beach is so clear and awesome.So i will show you some pictures of Karimunjawa.

Raja Ampat : Divers Paradise

Raja Ampat is the island who part of Indonesia, This island often called by Divers Paradise because he has a lots of species of reef fish and 27 species of endemic reef fish found only in that area. I posted one of the video about Raja Ampat from YouTube, so i hope you all can see how beautiful this place after Bali and Lombok.

Borobudur temple is one of the  seven wonders of the world given by UNESCO.  His located in the high plains of Kedu in the province of Central Java ( Magelang ). Kedu Plain is a Javanese sacred place and has been dubbed 'the garden of Java' due to the fertility of its soil. Annually during the full moon in May or June, Buddhists in Indonesia celebrate Vesak the (Waisak), the day commemorating the birth, death and when Siddhārtha Gautama attained the highest wisdom to become the Buddha Shakyamuni, so they celebrate in Borobudur temple. After you finish discover Borobudur, you can go to the temple that no far from there : Prambanan or we always call Lara Jonggrang temple who has around 240 temples around that temple. There is a folk history about this temple: This temples was build by a man ( Bandung Bondowoso ) who want to marry Rara Jonggrang but he must full fill the her request to build 1000 temples before the sun is rise, but honestly Rara Jonggrang doesn't like him

that's why she cheated by asking her people to waking up all the chicken crow to give the sign that it's already morning. But Bandung Bondowoso know it, so he curse her to be the last temple. Now, if we are going to visit this temple, we can watch theater every night and the story is about Ramayana. At 2006, there was an earthquake that hit Java island and he destroyed everything also this temple and Borobudur Temple, that's why the government make an small theater to asking some fund from the people who watching this theater, so they can fix two temple in Java.

Indonesia is the country of islands

Hi blogger users ! First of all, I'd like to say " Selamat Datang " ( welcoming in Bahasa ) and the second is I really sorry if my blog is not good enough to giving informations that you need. My blog will talk about my motherland, Indonesia. As we know, indonesia has lots of islands ( around 17.500 islands ) and also 26 provinces ( one of the province decided to got out from indonesia continent ). Each province has different culture and language, that's why they will make you feel that you're in Indonesia but in different way. So, I hope you will like my blog and you can leave some comments to give your point view or your critiques that can make me more good to improve my blog because it's really important for me and my country too. My goals are make all the people from around the world getting know about Indonesia and realize that my country has a lots of beautiful things that we can discover, so i hope you enjoy the video that i upload and also my blog ! 

small islands who has a beautiful place : Lombok

Lombok is the part of island in Indonesia, just beside of Bali. It's small island but has many of places that interesting to visit. The origin tribe of Lombok is Sasak. Some of them are still primitive and still do their traditional activities, they live in small village. They work as a artist who make woven fabric by hand and most of women who do that. Why ? Because they believe if they can make a good quality of woven, the man who will marry her has to pay a lots and also she will be a good wife. They sell it for government or visitor who come at their village. It's not cheap to buy it because each woven has different types and kind of yarn. The minimum price is around Rp 800.000 or 65 euro. After you see about the culture of Lombok, you can go to the 3 islands who is part of Lombok: Gili Meno, Tanjung Aan and the last one also the famous one : Gili Terawangan. In this island, you will see the different ambiance: First, its the island of paradise by young people ( party all night long, water sport and traditional food ). Second, not a lots of people who stay in here and most of all are young people. Third, the beach who has white sand and you will lots of plankton under water when you swimming. The advantage to spend in this island are you can being so close with lombok people and its near the one of province in Indonesia who is famous by their animal Komodo: Komodo Island.

Bali : the land of Paradise

Indonesia is the country who has 17.508 islands that's why Indonesia consists hundred of distinct native and linguistic group. So, when you visit Indonesia and going to one island to another island, you will feel like you're in another country because each islands using traditional language even though theirs mother language is bahasa. What is in your mind when you hear about Indonesia ? Is it country ? where is the location ? Well, it's almost happen in every country when they ask to Indonesian people who live in another country. All the people are just know about Bali. They think that Indonesia is part of Bali, but you're wrong. Bali is the one of province in Indonesia who famous around the world because of their beautiful beach, beautiful panorama and unique culture. Every year, lots of visitors from another country who take theirs holiday in Bali like Australia, Japan, Korea, China, France, German, etc...

Most of them comes to Bali for honeymoon, shopping, surfing or learning about the culture of Balinese ( Painting and Dancing ). All the activities in Bali make them feel like in paradise by watching how beautiful panorama of Bali. Dancing and Painting from Bali are popular until there is one of painter who is very famous, Antonio Blanco came to Bali and painted about how beauty Bali is.
