Eagle's Nest : chalet d'Hitler

Maybe only the American and European people who know this place than Asian people. The Eagle's Nest was the  present to Hitler from the political party. The Eagle's nest was designed by Martin Bormann as a birthday present for Adolf Hitler's 50 birthday. This building is one of undamaged monuments of the Hitler era.

Buchenwald Memorial

This time i discover one of history in second war specially about the Jewish's life on that time that attract me a lot about behind this history even I don't want to remember it again about this place. I went to Buchenwald, it's one hour from Ilmenau,Thuringe  by car and near Weimar. Buchenwald is one of place the camp concentration who built by Germany military in 1937to place all the foreign citizen and also military prisoner. More than 56.000 die there as the result of torture , medical experiment and consumption.

The first Marathon in Jakarta

Some of people don't know about Jakarta, and sometimes they ask : Jakarta? Where is it ? Is it a country ? Is it part of Africa ? All the people are just know about Bali and Lombok, that's so sad for me as an indonesian citizen. Well, Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia and it's the part of Java island.

Because of many people don't know about Jakarta, now the government of Indonesia take one decision to make a big event, it's call Jakarta Marathon. It's the first time in Jakarta and also the first edition. It will be 15.000 runner who participate in this event. Not just that, the minister of tourism was participate on Running Expo in Porte de Versailles, Paris, France to promote this event. Until now there are 5 people from France who will come to Jakarta and participate on this event.

Beautiful of East Nusa Tenggara province : Komodo island and Pink beach

Komodo island is the natural habitat of the Komodo dragon, the largest lzard on earth and consequently named after the island. Komodo is the part of the East Nusa Tenggara province and this island is a popular destination for diving. Komodo is an Indonesian island home to approximately 2,000 people who are mostly descendants of former convicts once exiled here. The island which covers an area of 390km² is part of Komodo National Park and is especially known for its native Komodo Dragon - the world's largest living lizard.

Pink Beach is one of the famous tourist destinations in Komodo National. The sand beach is derived from small red sand spread out the beach area that way this beach is famous called by pink beach or Pantai Merah where the local people mention it. This beautiful beach is just located in a small land with dry hill in back of the beach of it. It owns the beautiful coral with clear seawater that make it as an ideal place for snorkeling in this park.

Wonderful Bromo Mountain

Bromo is a non active mountain of javanesse who smokes continuously and easy excursion. His located in southwest of Probolinggo. Mount Bromo is a part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park that covers a massive area of 800 square kilometres. While it may be small when measured against other volcanoes in Indonesia, the magnificent Mt Bromo will not disappoint with its spectacular views and dramatic landscapes. The temperature at Mt Bromo ranges from 3 to 20 degrees Celsius but the temperature may be several degrees below zero during the dry season. What you can do in there is watching the sun rise spectacularly over Mt Bromo is the highlight of any trip here. Visit in the month of Kasada (usually in September-November) and witness the annual Kasada festival where the local Tenggerese come to Bromo to throw offerings of vegetables, chickens and money into the crater of the volcano.

Traditional Puppet : Wayang

Wayang is a traditional Indonesian entertainment with puppets played by "dalang" and most of each provinces have the special puppet which is can be determine the different puppet from another province. The most famous Wayang is from Java and we called it Punakawan, why? Punakawan is a distinctive character in the Indonesian wayang. They symbolize the most. The characters indicate the variety of roles, such as the knights advisers, entertainers, social critics, clowns and even the source of truth and wisdom. In Javanese wayang, the punakawan characters consist of Semar, Gareng, Bagong, and Petruk. In Balinese wayang in the other hand, the character consist of Malen and Merdah (the maids of Pandawa) and Delem and Sangut (the maids of Kurawa). 

 

Green Canyon Pangandaran

Green Canyon Indonesia is located in the village of Kertayasa, District Cijulang, West Java. This attraction is Cijulang stream passing through the cave full of beauty charm stalaktif, stalactites, and thousands of bats.
It looks like the Green Canyon America, it has been said by the locals. That's the origin of why this place is called Green Canyon.
Green Canyon is Cijulang streams that penetrate caves with stalactites and stalagmites are very beautiful. The flow of the river is flanked by two hills consisting of rocks and green trees. The river water is so clear to those who own the freshness see the forest while looking very natural. The things we can do in the Green Canyon, among others:

3. Seeing stalacites and stalagmites

4. Jumping from rock umbrella

The best way to access the Green Canyon is by manual or by renting a motorcycle. At Station canoe is the boat a lot who went to Green Canyon. After 20 Minutes drive a boat through the river either you are there. There are several ways to Up Green Canyon. From Pangandaran terminal, take the bus to the Direction of Small Terminal Cijulang. From the terminal Cijulang, motorcycle taxi ride to the Wharf Up Again to Ciseureuh
